Why Evening Feels Gentle

Read the English versionA note on Wuhan evenings, city colors, and the details that appear only after slowing down.

During the day, the city often feels direct: roads, cars, people, and sounds all move forward. Evening is different. It adds a very thin filter to the frame, not to decorate it, but to slow the speed down.

I like photographing at this hour. Not because the light is always perfect, but because things become more honest. The color of trees, flowers by the road, people walking, and reflections on glass stop fighting for attention.

If Plog is a way to fold a day and keep it, evening is the easiest corner to fold. It does not need a big story, only a little color and a pause.
